It's been about 36 hrs since we met with the surgeons after the transplant. Mandy is doing well. Yesterday morning she was taken off the ventilator. This morning the NG tube was removed. These were both big steps in the right direction.

At about 10:30am this morning Mandy got out of bed and is sitting up in a chair. She just needs to remember to keep breathing when she is napping, hence the little assist from some extra oxygen. Now that the NG tube is out she has had her first sip of water since sometime Friday morning. She was very happy.
